It’s no secret that Pinterest has the power to send a ton of traffic to your site. And now, with the Pinterest sales channel, you can even provide your customers the opportunity to buy your products while browsing through Pinterest. But have you ever wondered which of your products perform the best, and which ones could stand to do a bit better on the popular social media network? Enter: the Pinterest Tag.

The Pinterest Tag allows for you to see and track engagement data. You get automatic access to this tool when you install the Pinterest sales channel.

Knowing is half the battle.

The Pinterest Tag allows for you to collect data that will help you determine which of your products are most successful on Pinterest. You’ll also be able to target new customers with the use of Promoted Pins.

What can I track with the Pinterest Tag?

  • the number of clicks a Buyable Pin gets
  • how many times someone chooses to view a Buyable Pin close up
  • how many re-pins each Buyable Pin receives
  • top ranking Buyable Pins based on the number of re-pins and clicks

Mind the fine print!

Using the Pinterest Tag? Awesome! Just make sure you update your store’s Privacy Policy. Pinterest requires that you state your use of the Pinterest Tag specifically to track your customer’s behavior.
